When I first saw a commercial for alpacas I thought “wow how beautiful they are”!   Then a couple of months later I saw the commercial again. I started checking into alpacas and then I found out how much they sell for, talk about sticker shock, I still could not get them off my mind.  I got to thinking that if I went ahead and bought a few then I could sell the offspring and get my investment back. So in June 2004 Alabama Peanuts and Pacas was born.

When we first started telling people we were going to start breeding and raising alpacas their comments were "what's an alpaca" or "oh wow, we've seen them on tv". We are excited that we have had the opportunity to get into this rewarding business. Our goal is to raise and sell quality alpacas at reasonable prices and to help our clients in any way we can.

We have a good variety of alpacas to choose from, from show quality alpacas to basic beginning stock. We even have low cost pet quality alpacas just perfect for people who would like to have a couple to enjoy but are not sure if they want to get into breeding and raising alpacas at this time.

All our alpacas get a lot of TLC. We interact with them on a daily basis making sure we do the best possible job raising them. As a result our alpacas are very healthy and very people oriented. We like alpacas we can get our hands on and so will you.
